BOOST YOUR MENTAL WELLBEING

We all know how important it is to take care of our physical health, but often we forget about our mental health. Our mental health is just as important, if not more important, than our physical health. It’s essential to take care of our mental wellbeing daily, just like we take care of our physical wellbeing.

One way to boost our mental wellbeing is by following a daily checklist. By doing so, we can train our minds to focus on positive thoughts, learn new things, and be more present. Here is a daily checklist that can help you boost your mental wellbeing:

1. Identify one area of life that you urgently need to learn something about to improve its quality.

The first step in improving our mental wellbeing is to identify an area of our life that we need to learn more about. It could be something related to our work, relationships, or personal development. The key is to focus on something that is important to us and that we feel passionate about.

2. Who can you talk to today who may know something, or someone, who could help you?

Once we have identified an area of our life that we need to learn more about, the next step is to find someone who can help us. This could be a friend, colleague, or someone we admire. The important thing is to reach out to them and ask for their advice or guidance.

3. Listen to ABC radio (891 or 729). Read a book or magazine article, listen to an audiobook/podcast, watch a documentary on TV, or watch informative YouTube videos.

If we don’t have anyone to talk to, or if we prefer to learn on our own, we can turn to various sources of information. There are numerous resources available that can help us learn new things, such as books, podcasts, documentaries, and YouTube videos. By exposing ourselves to new ideas and perspectives, we can broaden our knowledge and expand our thinking.

4. Write 3 ways you are going to use/implement what you’ve learnt today.

Once we have learned something new, the final step is to put that knowledge into action. Writing down three ways we can use or implement what we have learned can help us solidify our understanding and commit to taking action.

Remember, our minds are like gardens that need both cultivating and trimming. By following this daily checklist, we can cultivate our minds by learning new things and trimming away negative thoughts and habits. By taking care of our mental wellbeing, we can live happier, healthier lives.
