IT'S ALL ABOUT ATTITUDE PART 3

We cannot Succeed By Ourselves:

Everyone needs other people to help them in achieving their dreams.

The attitude of others affects each of us and the attitude of each of us has the capacity to affect all of us.

We become a powerful force when each of us understands how powerful all of us are and when all of us understand how valuable each of us is.

Imagination is the starting point of all progress.

Our attitude about the interconnection of each of us to all of us and all of us to each of us has a great influence on our future.

Appreciating Self-Worth is the beginning of progress:

What would happen if we took to read the books, took the classes, and discovered new ways to refine our philosophy?

What would happen if we developed a new attitude about the past, present, and future?

What would happen if we all change our feelings about one another and the importance of each individual to our collective?

Just imagine the incredible effect on the future.

We each possess enough mental, spiritual, intellectual, and creative power to do all that we could ever dream of doing.

We need to spend time refining what we already are, and then put it to work for us.

What stops us from recognising our inherent hits and talents is a poor attitude about ourselves.

We can often see the value in others and not ourselves.

How we feel about ourselves is a matter of choice

How we see ourselves is a matter of choice, not circumstances, and the major determining factor is how we feel about ourselves lies in inner personal philosophy.

Lacking all of the information, we can form the wrong conclusions.

With limited knowledge, we can make poor decisions.

When we know better, we think better.

So we make better decisions by increasing knowledge.

If we know better, then we feel better.

Better decisions mean better choices which produce better results.

We need to truly know ourselves:

Our abilities
Our strengths
Our resources
Our depth of feeling
Our sense of humour
Our unique accomplishments

We are each unique.

We make the world a better place because of our special and unique talents and personal traits.

Value each human being, ourselves included.

Awareness of self and all that we do.

Self-knowledge is a critical part of the life puzzle.

How we feel is influenced by our associations:

The people we choose to associate with are a major source of what use know and how we feel.

3 questions those wanting a better life ask themselves:

1: Who am I around?

Who touches our lives on a daily basis?
What are the effects of those on our inner circle?
What is their reputation?
What is the level of their past accomplishments?
What is the depth of their knowledge?
Do they understand the value and importance of attitude, goals, and personal development?
How many books have they read in the past ninety days?
How many classes and seminars have they attended to develop new skills?
How do they look at the value of virtues such as commitment, persistence, fairness, patience, and diligent activity?
What is about them that makes their advice, options, and counsel valuable?

Those who reach us on a daily basis should inspire us.

2: What effect are they having?

Where do they have us going?
How have they got us talking?
What have they got us thinking read and doing?
What influence are they having on our ability to perform well, grow, and feel good about what we are doing?
What do they have us becoming?

Who is our circle of influence?

3: Is this acceptable?

Progress is often painful, but so are the consequences of allowing other people to exercise undue influence upon us.

We need to re-evaluate our associations.

We can all be careless and the wrong people, the wrong opportunity, or the wrong thoughts can find their way into our lives. The key is to learn to recognise the effect and to take the necessary steps to minimise or eliminate the source.

The power of influence has the capacity to change us, so we must surround ourselves with the right influence.

The value of limited associated:

Excessive influence is undue influence. We should spend 80% of our time with the 20% of people who are helping us to produce the 80% of the results.

Don’t get caught up in the how-to success, but the way to.

The value of expanded association:

We can expand the association we have with some to arrange our lives in order to be able to spend more time with them.

A small amount of time can make a big difference with the right people (positively) and with the wrong people (negatively).

People can educate, encourage, inspire, and assist us if moving in the right direction.

It is better to spend a little time with the right people than a lot of time with the wrong people.

New and better sources of influence:

Sources are within everyone’s reach.

If we can’t get around the right people in person we can always get around them via books or the internet, etc.

We must get these messages repeatedly to make a difference. Listen over and over again or read over and over again.

This gives the voices time to influence us. Repetition is the mother of skill.

It is the student who must seek out the teacher.

Success moves forward toward those who search for progress, not toward those who need or want its rewards.

Attitude is everything:

Change begins with us.

We all have tremendous potential.

We each have the ability to put our potential into action.

Attitude will determine the level of action we give and the potential that results.

No one can make us angry, we make ourselves angry when we voluntarily hand over control of our attitude.

We must take 100% responsibility for our attitude and our feelings.

Guard abasing those feelings that have the capacity to lead our attitude down the wrong path.

Maintain total domino over our attitude.

Our attitude is an asset, a treasure of great value, and must be protected.

A sound personal philosophy and a positive attitude about ourselves and the world around us give us inner strength and a firm resolve that influences all other areas of our existence.
